Deposits & ID

For most everyday products, there is no deposit. However, we do request a deposit for some larger equipment and plant of either £250, £500, or £1000. If we require a deposit for a machine that requires fuel, then a charge for fuel is not included. We supply the machine with a full tank, and we will charge you for the amount you have used at the end of the hire, which will be deducted from your deposit. If you refuel the tank, there will be no additional costs.

Deposits are refundable once the product is returned and checked by our partner. Any damages or cleaning charges will be deducted from the deposit.

When booking, some products requires Online ID Verification via our secure partner Yoti.

Yoti is a digital identity company that makes it safer for people to prove who they are. We don't charge for this service.

Please note that when you are collecting from a depot or having tools delivered to your site, you will need to have two forms of ID ready. One will need to be a photo ID, such as a driving license or a passport. The other must be a proof of address, such as a utility bill. We may also request ID during the checkout process for security purposes.
